Did you know…

One member of a group of Canadian landscape painters, “The Group of 7”, AY Jackson, came to Ashcroft in 1945 and painted two pieces. One painting was looking south down Railway Avenue, and other looking east over the town from the north end of Brink Lane. Replicas of these paintings are located on the outside wall of the Rolgear building and in Heritage Park by the Gazebo.
