UPDATE: We’re excited to share that the brand NEW playground is on the way!
A new playground is going to being installed at Mesa Vista Park to enhance the space for children and families in our community. The upgraded playground will feature modern equipment designed to encourage active play, creativity, and social interaction, creating a welcoming place for residents and visitors to gather and enjoy the outdoors.
What is happening?
To make room for construction, the Mesa Park Playground will be closed to the public from March 31 to June 30 while the Village prepares the space and the new equipment is installed.
The basketball court and grassy area will remain open for everyone to enjoy.
Why are we doing this?
The existing playground has reached the end of its lifespan and no longer meets current standards for accessibility and inclusive play. This upgrade ensures that children of all ages and abilities can safely enjoy the space, while better supporting the needs of today’s families and creating a more welcoming, accessible environment for everyone..
