Great news! The playground and basketball area are now open and ready to enjoy!
Please note: The grassy area remains temporarily fenced off while the new sod establishes its roots.
Please do not enter the fenced grassy area. Keeping everyone off the new lawn for a little while longer will help it grow into a healthy, durable green space for the whole community to enjoy.
Thank you for your patience, cooperation, and for helping us care for this new community space. We can’t wait to see everyone enjoying the playground and basketball court!

What is happening?
To make room for construction, the Mesa Park Playground will be closed to the public from March 31 to June 30 while the Village prepares the space and the new equipment is installed.
The basketball court and grassy area will remain open for everyone to enjoy.
Why are we doing this?
The existing playground has reached the end of its lifespan and no longer meets current standards for accessibility and inclusive play. This upgrade ensures that children of all ages and abilities can safely enjoy the space, while better supporting the needs of today’s families and creating a more welcoming, accessible environment for everyone..
