Mesa Vista Playground Project

UPDATE: Mesa Park Playground Construction is nearing completion!

The new playground project is in the final stages of completion! The pour-in-place (PIP) rubber safety surfacing is completed and curing.

Now that the playground portion of the project is completed, Village crews will begin landscaping the remaining playground area with new grass, irrigation system, trees, benches, picnic tables, and misting station.

Please note that the playground remains CLOSED during this final phase of construction. We kindly ask everyone to continue respecting the fencing and barriers and not climb on or use the equipment and stay off the soon to be newly seeded grass area until the project is officially opened.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we complete this exciting community project.

What is happening?

To make room for construction, the Mesa Park Playground will be closed to the public from March 31 to June 30 while the Village prepares the space and the new equipment is installed.

The basketball court and grassy area will remain open for everyone to enjoy.

Why are we doing this?

The existing playground has reached the end of its lifespan and no longer meets current standards for accessibility and inclusive play. This upgrade ensures that children of all ages and abilities can safely enjoy the space, while better supporting the needs of today’s families and creating a more welcoming, accessible environment for everyone..
