UPDATE: Mesa Park Playground Construction starting soon!
The construction crew may be arriving as early as today, or over the next couple of days, to beginning work on the newplayground!
As construction gets underway, the playground and surrounding area will be closed to the public to allow crews to work safely and efficiently. We kindly ask all residents to please stay clear of the construction zone and respect any signage or barriers in place. This helps keep everyone safe and ensures the project stays on schedule.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to bring this exciting new play space to the community. Stay tuned for more updates!
What is happening?
To make room for construction, the Mesa Park Playground will be closed to the public from March 31 to June 30 while the Village prepares the space and the new equipment is installed.
The basketball court and grassy area will remain open for everyone to enjoy.
Why are we doing this?
The existing playground has reached the end of its lifespan and no longer meets current standards for accessibility and inclusive play. This upgrade ensures that children of all ages and abilities can safely enjoy the space, while better supporting the needs of today’s families and creating a more welcoming, accessible environment for everyone..
