Ashcroft Community Hall

Located at 409 Bancroft Street, the Ashcroft Community Hall is a cherished historic building that has been a cornerstone of community life for over a century. Originally constructed in 1899 as a school, the building was repurposed into a community hall in 1922. It even temporarily served as a high school in 1949 to accommodate growing student numbers.

The hall underwent many upgrades in 2013 to enhance its energy efficiency, including the installation of insulated panels and ceiling and new light. Funding was partial funded by a $30,000 federal grant.

The Ashcroft Community Hall is available for public rental. To book the facility, please contact the Village Office at 250-453-9161 or via email at admin@ashcroftbc.ca
