The Village owns and operates the Drylands Arena, a versatile facility with one ice sheet that supports a wide range of community recreation programs, including figure skating and minor hockey. The arena season typically runs from October through March.
Facility features include bleachers with overhead heaters, a concession, washroom facilities, a skate sharpening service, multiple dressing rooms, a sound system, and a 16′ x 12′ stage for dry floor events. In the warmer months, the arena transforms into a hub for dry floor activities such as the annual Fall Fair, music events, and other community gatherings.
Whether you’re cheering on local athletes at a figure skating performance or a minor hockey game, there’s always something happening at the Drylands Arena. For game or event schedules, please visit the respective club websites.
Arena Rentals
The arena also features a mezzanine available for rent—perfect for meetings, gatherings, or special events. This space includes a small kitchen area with a sink and fridge for added convenience. To inquire about availability and booking details, please contact the Village office by phone or email.
