BC Transit
Transit service is available due to a partnership between BC Transit and the Villages of Ashcroft and Clinton. The service is operated by Yellowhead Community Services with two (2), 20 passenger buses. Service extends from between Ashcroft and Clinton with trips to Kamloops and 100 Mile House scheduled. A Health Link bus is part of this service that takes passengers from Lillooet to Kamloops on a weekly basis with several stops in between. Special Service Transit Requests
A special service requests can be made for use of the bus. The cost is $41/hr plus applicable taxes and is payable to the Village of Ashcroft. For requests to be granted, the following criteria must be met:
- The bus must be available for use (does not conflict with regular service)
- The bus must remain on paved roads (special exceptions may be made)
- The request does not conflict with private transportation service providers that could provide the service
- The request is made 14 days in advance
- The service provides a benefit to the community
