Every car has a license plate, and all over the world, license plates are different. They have different colours, letters, numbers, and logos.
The Ashcroft Museum has many license plates from BC that have changed over many many years. Nowadays, license plates have a whole new style and design to them and you can even personalize your own license plates!
Try making your own license plate out of paper or cardboard, and felt markers. Will your license plate look similar to the ones from the 1910s? Or will it look more like a license plate from the 1960s? Or will it be more modern?
